A lot of times
(where rainbows coincide)
I find myself dancing
through God’s good hour
w/the same side step
(my father passed down)
and limbo into the light
between buildings.
‘Cos what else does
a street kid have
but his own longitude,
(his latitude)
and a whole lot of stage
between him
and the waiting rain.
